At Opendoor you can share your thoughts. Nothing is too big or too small to talk through with one of our counsellors. Open Door is a free and confidential service based in Saffron Walden for young people living in Uttlesford and the greater surrounding area aged 12 - 24.
We are an independent charity, operating under British Association of Counselling guidelines. Our counsellors are volunteers and are either fully qualified or in the last stages of their Diploma training.

about us
Opendoor is a safe, confidential place for you to come and talk about your problems with a counsellor.
Counsellors do not have easy answers but they are patient, understanding, will not make fun of your difficulties or criticise your mistakes. Your counsellor will help you to make sense of your problems and help you to feel more in control so that you can move forward with confidence. Opendoor is situated in a room at the Multi-Purpose Centre in Fairycroft Road, Saffron Walden. Although it is in the same building, it is well away from the Youth Centre activities so no one else need know where you are going if you want to keep your visits confidential. Opendoor is managed by a fully trained counsellor who has a Diploma in Counselling which is accredited by the Associated Examining Board. Contact us to find out exactly how to get in touch with an Opendoor counsellor and make an appointment. |
